Consultant – Java Support

Key Role

Minimum 03-06 yrs. of experience in Operations support or Development using JAVA, J2EE, spring framework, SOA, Web services, XML, REST web services

Technical/Functional Skills

  • Should be ready to work in Support projects in 24×7 model, should be able to work in shifts, should be able to work in team
  • Should have excellent communication skills and coordination capabilities
  • Must have knowledge in code version mechanism using tools like TeamCity, GIT hub
  • Should be able to analyze issues and find the root cause and make the team to understand.
  • Working knowledge with databases ORACLE, SQL Server, mySQL
  • Should have knowledge on Unix, writing shell scripts, patch upgrades, version upgrades, installation/setup of VMs, any software installations/setup as required in the support environment
  • Experience in integration projects and having Mule ESB experience is an advantage
  • Working knowledge on ActiveMQ, JMS, clustering in Active MQ is an advantage
  • Knowledge on SDLC phases, should have Continuous Integration (CI) experience, Knowledge on Agile scrum and water fall methodology
  • Experience in usage of tools Eclipse, SOAP UI, Jmeter, Maven, Creating Mavenised projects

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Client Management skills
